Prof. Wolfram Wingerath

Junior professor at the University of Oldenburg

Wolfram "Wolle" Wingerath completed his doctorate on real-time databases at the University of Hamburg in 2019, then worked as Head of Data Engineering at Baqend, where he was responsible for all matters relating to the analysis and continuous processing of data, and is now a junior professor for Data Science at the University of Oldenburg in research and teaching. Since he has been using speech recognition tools for software development since 2011, Wolle has already gained a good decade of experience in the context of Handsfree Coding. With the GI initiative "Handsfree Coding" (handsfree-coding.gi.de), he wants to increase the visibility of handsfree coding within the computer science community and establish it as a means of increasing efficiency as well as breaking down barriers. Since Wolle likes to meet new faces and always wants to exchange ideas with others, he often speaks at developer and research conferences about the things that are close to his heart.
